To get a haircut with autism can be confusing. Mom and my friend Rachel make it fun and calm for me. First, it is me who decides if my autism can withstand the outing. Then we go with an appointment made on the way there by Rachel and her phone. Rachel always stands by my chair and helps the hair designer understand both my curly hair and my autism. She chooses great styles that suit me well. When I grab the dryer, she helps me to stop, but just teases and does not get angry with my autism. After we treat ourselves to beef brisket with fried pickles and vegetables in our kitchen booth, we share devotions. A good day in October.
